Watercolour and ink on paper 18″ × 24″

Pelicans never crept upon me, hearing their mighty wings far in advance of a sighting. An archaic sight, as if one has fallen back in time, as far back as 30 million years. They are the original fisherman, but are seen as competition within commercial fishing, and are not thought of when habitats are destroyed, and waters are polluted.
